Endorsement Letters
It is an honor to endorse Biju Mathew for Coppell City Council, Place 6. In an election like this one, every vote truly matters. It is disheartening to occasionally read social media comments second guessing our city leaders, so I want to encourage everyone to mark your calendars and vote to make your voice heard where and when it counts.I met the Mathew family first as our next door neighbor back in 2012. They have been terrific and helpful when needed from Day One. Biju serves on the School Committee in our neighborhood Coppell Greens HOA.

As a member of the Coppell Library Board, I became aware of Biju’s involvement on
the Parks Board and later the Coppell Recreation Development Corporation which played a huge role in funding our Cozby Library and Community Commons renovation as well as the new Andy Brown Park and median projects. Biju currently serves as Vice-President of the CRDC which funds so many projects with the ½ cent sales tax, saving our citizens on property tax.

Biju’s long and impressive list of community engagement points to his fundamental care for our community and a true leader we can trust and respect to fight for his vision of a “Stronger Coppell-Safer Coppell-Smarter Coppell.” He has my enthusiastic vote on April 23rd when early voting begins!

Janet Koester, Coppell

I am endorsing Biju Mathew for Coppell City Council. I have known Biju for over 10 years and find his focus on Coppell and the community aligned with my views. Having served with him on the Coppell Parks and Recreation Board and CRDC Board, Biju was one who focuses on the needs of the community and the projects working their way through the process. He was one that wanted to make sure the project list matched the community input.

Biju also made sure that the tax dollars being spent were being spent to meet a need or to keep our existing investments in proper working order. He helps keep city staff accountable, along with the board, to ensure spending was aligned to citizen requirements.
Outside of his board service, he also helped with the Coppell Kid Country 2012 project. As Project Co-Chair, I asked Biju to reach in to the growing Indian community for volunteers. Biju help with this effort and was also a major volunteer on the project as well. Biju is always willing to lend a hand when needed and when asked.
As our community continues to grow and evolve, Biju is the right candidate for the council. He will ensure all people within Coppell have a voice and are heard. He will also keep an eye towards fiscal responsibility.

Jack Clark, a 27 year Coppell Resident, Coppell Grace Point Elder, Coppell Kid Country 2012 Co-Chair and current Coppell Park Board President.

You can certainly count on our support!

I had the pleasure of meeting Biju when he was a candidate for city council, and I have since sought his guidance on multiple occasions on behalf of my neighborhood’s homeowners association. Biju is an outstanding councilmember. He’s very responsive and pragmatic. We are fortunate to have him on our city council.

President, East Lake HOA
