I want to thank God first. I am blessed to have won the Re-election for Coppell City Council, Place 6. Thank you Coppell voters! Gratitude!!!

Thanks to my Campaign Manager Maureen Corcoran and Treasurer Barb Schmidt for helping me run a positive campaign. Thank you to the Coppell community voters who endorsed me and supported me. Thank you to my tireless campaign volunteers! Thanks to my opponent Mark Smits for a positive campaign; I wish him the best.

I’m grateful to my lovely wife Shiji Mathew and to our family; I could not have done this without you all!

Thank you for your support during the past three years! I take my role as your City Council member seriously. I have represented Coppell citizens at 100% of all Council meetings (executive, working and regular meetings), attended the Budget Planning meetings and Council retreats and participated in all City council events. I’ve contributed 1,500+ hours in the last three years toward our City and its citizens.

During my three-year term, I have supported the following:

  • Community-driven “Coppell Vision 2040.” I voted to support the Seven Pillars.
  •  Creation of the board, FOARD (Future Oriented Approach to Residential  Development).
  • Creation of the Smart City Board.
  • Development and implementation of the smart phone app for Police & Fire Departments.
  • Building of a 4th Fire Station for community safety and maintenance of best homeowner’s insurance rates.
  • Voted in favor for tax-rate cut for FY2019, FY2021 budgets.
  • Voted to oppose tax-rate increase in FY2020 budget.
    • The implementation of the community-driven goals for ‘Coppell Vision 2040.’
    • The maintenance of Coppell’s high-quality of life during budget challenges.
    • Explore the increase of Homestead Exemption.

  • Graduate of Leadership Coppell where he interacted with City Department heads and developed an understanding of how City policy decisions are developed, refined and executed.

  • Graduate of the Citizen’s Police Academy of Coppell and member of the Alumni group (CPAC).
